Mobile phones etiquettes a forgotten concept

Mobile is the new external human organ. It is true with many of us, mobile, whether we like it or not has become a part of our body. If it's been a while since our phone isn't ringing or we haven’t received any message, we get restless and tend to check our phone again and again with these thoughts coming to our mind simultaneously,“ Is something wrong? Whether my internet is working or not?”. No doubt! Mobile phones arrival is the most important technological development of the past for more than four decades and an inseparable part of our life.

Every day with the advancement in the technology of mobile phones, along with the internet made international connectivity cheap and accessible. Hence, “The world is indeed shrinking”. Though the communication via mobile phones is convenient and is full of benefits but sometimes it can be intrusive to others. One of the biggest issues with mobile phones is privacy and the impact it has on us as a human being.

At times, mobile phones turn people into rude non connective human beings. These people are everywhere - driving in cars, walking on the streets, in cafes and even at the adjacent cubicle at the workplace. As everybody is so much absorbed in their phones and hardly greets or interacts with people nearby. Though, we don't realise that mobile phones are a distraction to us and others. The fear that how an epidemic of inconsiderate mobile phones use will give the device a bad reputation, has come true.

Living in a time, where answering calls, the moment we receive it, despite the place we are in, be it cinema theatres, temples, restaurants and other public places is a must. Sometimes these ringing phones become a distraction for others and annoy the people around. The other thing is how we just call people now and then, which is another of invading someone's life.

It's high time that every mobile phone user uses their cell phones with a certain degree of etiquette, especially in public places. We can't forget this concept anymore. From keeping our cell phones on silent to greet people nearby and not invading someone's privacy by calling them again and again. We need to use the mobile phone politely and effectively and believe in the concept of mobile etiquettes.
