DBIT Legacy Connect is the official Alumni Cell of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Delhi, bringing together graduates from different batches to reconnect with their alma mater, faculty members, and fellow alumni. The event serves as a platform to celebrate cherished memories, recognize alumni achievements, foster lifelong relationships, and build a strong network that supports the growth of both alumni and current students.
To cultivate a lifelong, vibrant, and globally connected alumni community that embodies the spirit of "Grooming Generations, Leaving Legacies" by fostering meaningful relationships, inspiring future leaders, and contributing to the continued excellence and growth of institute.
Don Bosco Institute of Technology successfully organized its 1st Alumni Meet, “DBIT Legacy Connect”, on 24 January 2026 at 4:00 PM onwards on the college campus. The event aimed to reconnect alumni with their alma mater, celebrate achievements, and strengthen alumni–institution relationships. The program commenced with registration and welcome, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The gathering was formally addressed by Rev. Prof. Sajan M. George, Chairman, DBIT, and Prof. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, DBIT, who highlighted the importance of alumni engagement and institutional growth.
A key highlight of the event was the Experience Sharing Session, during which 12 alumni shared their academic journeys, professional experiences, challenges, and success stories. Their insightful interactions proved highly motivating for current students and fostered a strong sense of belonging and inspiration among attendees. The event also featured Alumni Awards Distribution, recognizing outstanding alumni achievements across various categories such as Professional Excellence, Young Achiever, Entrepreneurship, Academic Excellence, Government Service, and Alumni Volunteer contributions. Cultural performances, interactive corporate games, and networking opportunities added vibrancy to the program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem and a networking dinner, providing alumni an opportunity to reconnect and interact informally.
The inaugural alumni meet was a grand success, marked by enthusiastic participation, meaningful interactions, and positive feedback from alumni and students alike. The institution looks forward to organizing such engagements regularly to nurture lifelong bonds within the DBIT alumni community.
