The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established at Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) from the academic year 2026–27 to institutionalise quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Objectives

  • Establish a systematic quality assurance framework.
  • Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Strengthen teaching-learning and student-centric practices.
  • Encourage research, innovation and faculty development.
  • Enhance student development and industry engagement.
  • Strengthen stakeholder feedback and participation.
  • Identify and document institutional best practices.

IQAC Plan 2026–27s

As the first year of IQAC, the focus during 2026–27 will be on establishing the foundation for a sustainable quality system:

  • Constituting and operationalising IQAC.
  • Developing quality benchmarks and institutional processes.
  • Establishing feedback and stakeholder-engagement mechanisms.
  • Strengthening academic monitoring and teaching-learning practices.
  • Promoting faculty development, research and innovation.
  • Encouraging student development and industry interaction.
  • Initiating documentation of institutional best practices.
  • Developing systematic quality records and reports.
