Dr. Asjad Usmani is an Associate Professor with 18 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Training, Consultancy and service in the area of Management Studies. His key interests are Human Resource Management, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Behavior, Training and Development, Personality Development, Strategic Management, Industrial Relation, Performance Management, Communication Skills and General Management. He has worked on many live projects and published articles and research papers in Indian, International, Scopus journals and magazines. To his academic credit is a patent, 3 books, 30 research papers and participation in more than 35 Conferences/ Seminars/ FDPs. He is currently associated with Don Bosco Institute of Technology, IP University, New Delhi. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Don Bosco Academy and earned his degree in Business Management from L.N. Mishra College, Patna. He has done his PhD in Human Resource Management from TMU, Bhagalpur. Apart from his responsibilities as an academician in IP University, Dr. Usmani is also a member of the Editorial Board of various renowned journals and has corporate experience in Human Capital Management. He is a seasoned Corporate Trainer and Consultant in the field of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior with expertise in Soft Skills and Human Capital Interventions. He has trained more than 300 managers and executives in both public & private sectors such as BHEL, NTPC, Kribhco, SAIL, Petronet etc. An avid reader, he enjoys exploring new destinations and follows politics closely.
